United States Government -CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Canadian companies are invited to submit early stage porposals in the CBRN areas of combating terrorism. associated technologies and equipment to support Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Countermeasures. This includes development of personal protective equipment and systems to detect, assess, mitigate, and decontaminate improvised chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear countermeasures devices in non-battlefield scenarios. The types of systems are categorized into four areas: Detection/Identification, Mitigation/Decontamination, Protection, and Information Products and Training. Selling to Governments: Helpful Tips from Experts

On November 17, 2003, Industry Canada (the ICT Branch and the Vancouver office of the International Trade Commissioner service) hosted a day-long program of presentations on the topic of Selling-to-Governments security technologies based on information and communications technologies. The speakers drew in those who recognized the sales potential offered by the Canadian Federal Government and those US Government agencies present (the General Services Administration, FBI, & Dept of Homeland Security).
