BioLIGHT 2003 - Canada's First Biophotonics Primer & Workshop
BioLIGHT 2003: Canada's First Biophotonics Primer & Workshop, November 13-16, 2003, Four Points Sheraton Hotel, Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, is organized by Vitesse Re-Skilling Canada and the Canadian Institute for Photonic Innovations.
BioLIGHT 2003 will focus on the sciences and technologies for biophotonics as they apply to:
Medicine and Health, Biosciences, Environment, Security and Defence.
This event will also explore all related research and business challenges and opportunities. It will bring together internationally recognized key speakers who will share their knowledge in medicine, biology, physics, photonics, security and biodefence. It is worth noting that there is one full day dedicated to biophotonics in biosecurity and biodefence. One of the invited speakers - Dr. Fred Milanovich - is the Program Leader of the US Chem/Bio National Security Program. Every working day will be completed by a roundtable discussion to explore existing and future strategic directions and collaboration opportunities.
